RECENT PROJECTS/ROLES

Masters Thesis
I defended my Masters Thesis in May 2026 on the impact of urban graffiti proximity on online discourse and the amplification of politcized content. Read the thesis here.

Advanced Topics in Natural Language Processing
In an elective course at the University of Copenhagen, we built a Transformer from scratch and reproduced the compositional generalization experiments by Lake and Baroni. Read the paper and explore the code here.

Machine Learning
For my final project at Copenhagen Business School, we investigated how tree-based models and multi-layer perceptrons can predict injury severity in car crash data from Montgomery County. View the project here.

Natural Language Processing and Text Analytics
In a final NLP project at Copenhagen Business School, we analyzed Goodreads book reviews and trained models to generate new reviews. We also compared extractive and abstractive summarization methods to evaluate which approach produced more coherent opinion-based summaries. View the project here.
